Available Settings

Verfügbare Einstellungen-Übersicht-ccm19.png

Here you can enable a range of features in your account that are relevant only for specific issues and applications. Some features are only available in certain plans. If a feature is not included in your plan, this will be indicated directly next to the respective option.

Enable Menu Items / Features

Menüpunkte-Funktionen aktivieren.png

In this section, you can enable new features within the CCM19 Administration. Depending on the feature, this will unlock additional menu items or configuration options.

Cross-Domain Theme-Management

If you enable this setting, you can create themes that can be used across multiple domains and modified centrally. This is useful if you manage many domains and want to use a consistent banner-design on the front end.

Text- and Translation Settings

If you enable this setting, you can centrally manage default texts and use them across multiple domains. This is useful if you manage more than 1–2 domains and do not want to customize default texts individually for each domain.

Embedding Templates Across All Domains

If this feature is enabled, embedding templates can be customized centrally and used across multiple domains. This is particularly helpful if you want to embed your own cookies or scripts for which there is no suitable embedding template in the CCM19-database.

Enable Domain-API

This option enables the General Domain-API, which allows you to retrieve the consent-data for your domains via an API. This is useful, among other things, if you want to use the data in your own reporting-system. For instructions on using the API, see https://docs.ccm19.com/api/general_api/.

User / Group Management

If you would like to create additional sub--users and groups, you can enable this feature here. You can then create additional sub--users and groups via the API.

IAB / TCF Settings

If you would like to use the IAB / TCF Framework for your domains, you can enable it here. You can then change the IAB / TCF configurations on a per-domain basis.

If you check this box, you can use the accessibility link for the frontend-widget (in addition to the legal notice- and privacy policy link).

Cross-Domain Crawling- & Embedding-Defaults

In this section, you define account-wide defaults for crawling and handling embeds. The settings configured here serve as default values for the corresponding settings in the domain--settings.

Crawl Domains Settings: Crawl all domains on a regular basis

This setting determines whether domains can generally be crawled on a regular basis. The setting serves as the default value for the corresponding option in the Domain-settings.

Disable this option only if you do not need this feature for any of your domains.

Should new integrations/cookies found by the external crawler be activated immediately?

This setting determines whether new integrations and services found by the external crawler can generally be activated automatically in CCM19.

You can then specify whether newly found integrations are actually activated automatically in the settings for the respective domain.

If automatic activation is set up for a domain, newly found integrations are activated immediately. This allows CCM19 to block the corresponding services and prevent them—where consent is required—from setting cookies or executing before the website visitor has consented via the “-” banner.

If automatic activation is not set up for the domain, the integrations will be stored in CCM19 but will not be automatically activated. You can then review them first and manually approve them if necessary.

Allow automatic updates for all integrations in this account

When this option is enabled, integrations are automatically updated as soon as changes are available. You can still configure individual settings for specific integrations and domains.

Domain--Settings

In this section, you can configure domain-specific settings that will then apply to all domains in your account.

New Domains: Limit Banners and Blocking Function to Configured Domain Names

The default settings for this feature can be configured under "Developer-Settings." This setting applies only to newly created domains. Enable it only if you need this feature for all your new domains. This means that the banner will only be accessible under the specified domain, not, for example, on a subdomain.

Time Zone

This is only relevant if you want to use the-placeholder-plugin to implement time-based display conditions.

Primary Country (or Server Location)

By default, the country specified in the account-settings is preselected. If this differs, you can specify it here.

Here you can select all legal bases relevant to your market and location. These will then be displayed for selection in the integrations.

Fallback-Translation

Here you can select the language to be displayed if the user has set a language in their browser that you have not defined. Example: A visitor has selected Spanish in their browser, but you have only defined English and German. This setting determines which language the user will see instead of Spanish.

If you want a visitor’s selection (Accept All or Reject) to apply across all your websites, enable this option. This ensures that the signal is sent to the appropriate domain when the user navigates between websites. Make sure that using this option complies with applicable legal requirements.
