Manager-Administration

In the "Manager" section under "System & Co.," you can manage users who are authorized to perform administrative tasks based on their permissions.

Create a Manager

Managers—like other users of the system—have basic account information. These include, for example, the required fields Username, Password, and the E-Mail-Address.

Furthermore, each manager can be individually en-, allowing access to be specifically granted or denied.

Permissions

The Manager-administration offers a powerful tool by allowing specific areas to be granted on an individual basis for each manager. To do this, use the "Always grant this user all permissions" toggle to either grant a manager access to all areas or select specific areas to which the manager is permitted access.

Note: Certain sections are marked with an asterisk (*)—including, for example, "Dashboard" and "My Account". These sections are required for every manager and cannot be deselected.

Note: Be sure to also enable the “Main Accounts” menu item if you are granting access to customers or specific customer groups. This is the only way the manager can access customer management and view the enabled customers.

Access to Customers

If a manager has access to the "Customers > Main Accounts" section, access to customers can be restricted to specific customer groups or granted in full via the field group of the same name.

To do this, you must first create a customer group under the "Customers" menu item in the "Customer Groups" submenu. This group will then be offered as an option in the settings of the Manager-account. If the group is selected, the manager will have access only to the customer accounts assigned to that customer group.

You can assign a customer to a customer group by editing the customer’-” account in the “List of All Customers” and then selecting the checkbox for the desired customer group in the “Customer Groups” section.
