Dashboard

After selecting a domain in the Domain-Manager, you’ll be taken directly to the Domain-Dashboard. This dashboard lists several basic functions.

Please confirm first

CCM19 is working very hard to cover every possible—and impossible—pitfall —but given the sheer number of potential conflicts with other scripts or issues, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that everything will work 100% after activation. The possible combinations of the scripts we’re aware of, along with their respective settings, number in the billions.

By checking this box, you confirm that you have taken note of this and that the responsibility for proper functioning lies solely with you or the operator of the respective site.

After activation, you can now configure all settings.

Activate Widget

If this option isdisabled , the CCM19 module willnotbe displayed in the frontend, and the corresponding scripts willnotbe executed. However, data regarding unknown cookies and scripts will continue to be collected even when the widget is disabled.

This feature can be used to install and test CCM19 on the website. You should only activate CCM19 once all cookies and scripts have been entered correctly.

Integrating CCM19 into Your Site

The most important point—here you’ll find the HTML snippet you need to establish the connection between your site and CCM19.

Copy the entry listed in your dashboard that resembles the one in the following example:

In the form, you can select the language in which the form should be displayed. Generally, the form can also detect the visitor’s language from the browser. Additionally, you can select the language in the frontend widget.

The Invisible Cookie Banner is an innovative CCM19-feature that obtains consent exactly where external content is embedded. This includes embedded content such as YouTube-videos or Google Maps.

First, check whether the existing embeds and scripts are compatible with the invisible banner. The following areas are relevant:

  1. Display: If the cookie-banner is visually disabled, a message appears confirming that there is no technical error.
  2. Activation: The mode can be activated using the toggle—but only if the conditions are met.
  3. Functionality Test: Verify that all embeds function correctly even without the classic “-” banner.

Here’s how easy it is to check functionality: In normal mode, reject all cookies, then check whether embedded content (e.g., YouTube) can be activated individually and functions as desired. Done!

Would you like to give your visitors the option to change their minds later and, for example, decide not to allow analytics-cookies after all? Simply insert the following HTML snippet:

<a href="#" onclick="CCM.openWidget();return false;">Open configuration box</a>

This way, clicking on this link will reopen the configuration pop---up for the visitor.

If you cannot insert JavaScript-links, you can alternatively use the following destination in a link: #CCM.openWidget.

<a href="#CCM.openWidget">Open configuration box</a>

Quick Setup

Clicking this link will take you directly back to the onboarding process for this domain. You can do this as often as you like, but keep in mind that old data will be overwritten each time.
